Program to prepare - 2018

  • Preselection Round: A 20-minute maximum program (sent on DVD, CD or YouTube) made of an original work by J.S. Bach and two studies at the candidate's choice. Those pieces may be performed in next rounds’ free programs;

  • First Round: Free Program of 15 to 18 minutes, made of works at the candidate's choice. Please note that all rounds in front of the jury, from the First to the Finale Rounds, must be performed from memory, with the exception of contemporary music;

  • Semi-Finale: Free Program of 22 à 25 minutes, made of works at the candidate's choice, different from the First Round;

  • Finale-Recital: Free Program of 45-50 minutes, made of works at the candidate's choice different from previous rounds, including one or more pieces by Alexander Scriabin and the first movement of the chosen concerto among the 2018 list of concertos posted on the website www.gpipl.fr, accompanied by a professional pianist on the second piano;

  • Finale-Concerto: Concerto chosen by the candidate among the 2018 list posted on the website www.gpipl.fr, accompanied by an orchestra.
